Geschmack: Der süße Honig setzt sich am Gaumen fort, begleitet von Kokos und Ingwer.
Der Nachklang ist wunderbar süß und frisch mit einem sirupartigen Mundgefühl, das auf den Sauternes Wein hinweist, der einst in dem Faß war.
Ausbau: bourbon casks, July 2017 moved to Sauternes casks
Besonderheit: Wahrscheinlich non chill-filtered, möglicherweise natural colour, limited edition.

The whisky, distilled in 2008, was laid down in traditional Scotch Whisky oak casks prior to being moved into Monbazillac, Sauternes, Rivesaltes and Cognac casks for its final maturation resulting in a magnificent collection."

Distilled on 19th September 2008, this whisky brings a burst of peach and apricot on the nose, calmed by rich Manuka honey. The sweet honey continues on the palate accompanied by coconut and ginger. The finish is wonderfully sweet and fresh with a syrupy mouth feel indicative of the Sauternes wine that once occupied the cask.
